Hello, I'm Gerald "Jerry" Albrecht. I moved to south Texas in 1991 to work in the maquiladora industry utilizing my MBA as a materials manager. After a short time working in Reynosa, Mexico, I transitioned to a teaching position on the US side of the border. I worked for several school districts in various capacities until I retired from La Joya ISD as a librarian in 2016. Along the way, I received a masters degree in Library Science from Sam Houston State and a doctorate in Educational Leadership from Texas A&M - Kingsville. Shortly after retirement, I began assisting teachers and other TRS staff members in retirement planning. As the needs of my clients broadened, I expanded the business to include all areas of financial planning, estate planning, insurance products, and anything in need by mature populations and underserved low-income communities.
